My Photos are still showing in the built-in Photo Application.
Unfortunately Apple restricts developers from moving, deleting or altering in any way images stored in the native photo app.
This means that after you import them into Picture Safe you will need to quit and go into the photo app to manually delete them.
A small inconvenience but far outweighed by the benefits of guaranteed privacy and the peace of mind Picture Safe provides :)
NB: Of course this is not an issue if you are using Picture Safe to import images direct from your PC/Mac via the Web Access (wireless) feature or USB Import.

Does Picture Safe work on the iPhone or iPod Touch ?
Picture Safe works quite happily on these devices:
The original iPhone, 3G iPhone, 3GS iPhone.
All versions of the iPod Touch.
* In both cases we strongly recommend downloading and installing the latest version of firmware from Apple, via iTunes.

Can I zoom in on an image ?
Absolutely. Using the multi-touch capability of the iPhone/iPod Touch.
Zoom in: Touch the screen with a finger and your thumb, drag them closer together in a pincher movement till they touch.
Zoom Out: Reverse the motion. ie: Touch the screen with your thumb and finger together (like holding a pin) and while still touching the screen drag them apart.

How do I use the Wireless Transfer Feature?
The Web Access feature introduced in Picture Safe 2.0 allows users to view, organise and transfer images directly to and from their iPhone or iPod Touch to a PC/Mac WIRELESSLY.
The obvious advantage being that this is a one-step process eliminating the need to first import them into iTunes / iPhoto.
Using this feature is remarkably easy.

Using this feature is remarkably easy.
- Go to the 'Settings' option in the Picture safe app (not your iPhone or iPod Touch Settings).
- Choose the option 2nd from the top called 'Start Web Access'.
- Follow the on-screen Instructions.
- The URL address must be typed EXACTLY as it appears. (This should be typed in your computer browser NOT your iPhone browser).
- You must have WiFi turned on and have access to a wireless connection (this does not include Edge or 3G).
- If Security is turned ON (the Default is on) then you need to enter your Picture Safe password.
- The Web Connection will only be in operation so long as you stay on the Picture Safe Web Access screen.
- To quit simply exit settings.
Where are all the options / Functions?
Occasionally we get emails like this. Basically the default setting if you type the wrong password takes you to a decoy area with a gallery of images meant to distract unauthorised people trying to get into your safe.
In this area there are NO SETTINGS. This is intentional.
You can read more about Snoop-Stopper below.

What is this thing called SnoopStopper?
SnoopStopper is an original (and now much copied :) security feature of Picture Safe.
When turned on via settings it provides access to a 'dummy' version of the app containing an assortment of G-rated images.
The purpose is to serve as a decoy for overly curious people intent on finding out what you have stored in Picture Safe.
Snoop Stopper is configurable via the settings button. Users can specify:
- Number of wrong password attempts before users are taken to the safe area
- Set a unique password for immediate access to snoopstopper.
Furthermore users can also load SnoopStopper with images they choose themselves.

What is QuickHide?
Having QuickHide turned on enables users to quickly call up an image to replace what is on-screen at a moments notice.
A simple double-tap hides any private image from passers-by.
This 'safe' image can be any image you like and can be chosen or turned on/off in settings.
